Girl Scouts is an organization devoted to helping girls grow strong by providing opportunities to develop leadership skills. These opportunities are offered through traditional and contemporary Girl Scouting programs based on the Girl Scout Promise and Law. These programs engage girls in fun activities related to discovering, connecting and taking action. As a result of the Girl Scout program, the girls gain courage, character, confidence and a desire to make the world a better place.
Fees: $10.00 National dues. Scholarships are available for dues and other activities such as camp. No girl is ever denied membership due to financial difficulties.
Eligibility: All girls 5-17 years of age. Girls do not have to belong to a troop to be a Girl Scout. Adult volunteers are always needed.
To apply: Call for more information.
