June 30, 2011 Financial Statements and 990

We also invite you to read our 990 (Return of Organization Exempt From Income Tax) as of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2011. Also available for review are the Financial Statements as of June 30, 2011.

A printed copy is available in the United Way office at 75 East Lyndale during our regular business office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Connecting people interested in volunteering to non-profit agencies needing volunteers in the Greater Helena Area

United Way of the Lewis and Clark Area is hosting the website Volunteer Helena as a community service. The website offers an interactive search feature so that agencies can post volunteer opportunities and volunteers can search for opportunities.

Volunteer Helena is open to all non-profit and government agencies in the Greater Helena Area that utilize volunteers.

United Way of the Lewis and Clark Area Received Grant from Target for www.VolunteerHelena.org

This grant is part of ongoing efforts by Target to strengthen families and communities throughout the country. Since opening its doors, Target has given 5 percent of its income to organizations that support education, the arts, social services and volunteerism. Today that translates to more than $3 million every week.
