Campaign Goal: $675,000

2006 Campaign

2006 Co-chairs: JoAnne Stephen & Darla Fitzpatrick

As Co-Chairs of the 2006 campaign it is a privilege and honor to bring United Way's message to the community. It is a message that focuses on results: the lives we change and the communities we shape.

We see the homeless being assisted, our youth being mentored, our senior citizens being helped to remain active and healthy, disabled community members befiriended and our community being able to respond to indivudal and family emergencies. We see agencies working together to make sure people receive the help they need.

Why do we see these results? It's because of you, for it is through your charitable giving investment in our community that local agencies are able to provide the above described services.

Your contribution helps everyone from infants to senior citizens. The Greater Helena Area has a long and proud tradition of being a loving and caring community. With your help, United Way can continue "Looking out for our Community."

Thank you for your generous support.

Campaign Facts

  • Over 99% of every dollar raised by United Way stays right here. These are dollars that circulate back into our local economy, dollars that help each of us make a living here.

  • A goal of United Way is to minimize community fundraising efforts by having a once a year fundraising campaign on behalf of all the agencies. This combined work place and community wide effort helps us in keeping fundraising costs to a minimum.

  • You, the donor - as a donor to United Way - have the option to:

    1. Give your contribution directly to United Way (community volunteers will determine how funds should be distributed based on need).

    2. Designate your dollars to a special area of need, or

    3. Designate your money to any United Way or other non-profit agency in the community. The choice is yours.
