United Way Agencies
Numerous community-based agencies make up our United
Way network. All are non-profit charitable organizations run by a local
volunteer Board of Directors.
A community safety net - many of the
United Way agencies comprise our community's safety net for services.
Often our community's safety net is stretched very thin. Your dollars
fund a variety of community programs including day care, job counseling,
community education, emergency disaster relief, youth intervention and
prevention programs and emergency food, shelter and clothing.
Investing in Our Community
Where Do Your United Way Dollars Go?
As a donor to United Way your contribution is redistributed
to 31 human service agencies that provide a wide range of community
services to persons from birth to over age 100. Your contribution is
an investment in people in our community. The return we all receive
is a stronger, healthier community.
