You are invited to read our 990 (Return of Organization Exempt From Income Tax) as of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2007 and our Financial Statements as of June 30, 2007.

A printed copy is available in the United Way office at 805 North Last Chance Gulch during our regular business office hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

United Way Board sets 2008-2009 Campaign Goal

After surpassing last year's campaign goal of $725,000 by over $25,000 dollars, the United Way Board of Directors has set the campaign goal for 2008 at $765,000.


Campaign Co-Chairs Dan Anderson and Larry Winslow Climb Aboard For The Drive To $765,000

Board President, Shannon Hall announced that Dan Anderson and Larry Winslow have been selected to head up the 2008 campaign.  Dan and Larry are both currently serving as board members for United Way.

Dan is a retired state employee who currently serves as Volunteer Coordinator at Helena Food Share. Larry is retired from J C Penney Company and volunteers in the community.

Message from Dan and Larry:  

As Co-Chairs of this year's campaign it is a privilege and honor to bring United Way's message to the community. It is a message that focuses on promoting the common good in our community. Your contribution helps everyone from infants to senior citizens. The Greater Helena Area has a long and proud tradition of being a loving and caring community. We hope you will join us in the 2008 Drive for $765,000. Thank you for your generous support.

16 Pacesetter Firms Lead With Kickoff In August

Special thanks to the 16 Helena area businesses who have decided to be Pacesetter firms for the 2008 Campaign.

Pacesetter firms conduct their employee campaigns from mid-August to mid-September and report their results at the campaign kickoff breakfast. Their outstanding efforts provide a tremendous boost for the campaign co-chairs and other campaign volunteers. The Pacesetter firms are:

Pete Duncan Wins Kids’ Art Project

Kessler Elementary School student Pete Duncan created this year’s winning design in the United Way Kids’ Art Project. Smith Elementary School student Aaron Irion created the 2nd place design and Kessler Elementary School student Lexie Reddig drew the 3rd place design.

Pete and his teacher Margaret Wilkison won a pizza party for their class which was donated by Pizza Hut. The 2nd and 3rd place winners received gift certificates from McDonalds of Helena.
